Red Cliff, Colorado

Overview:

Red Cliff is a small community that lies just south of Minturn at an altitude of 8,650 feet. A former mining camp and the oldest town in Eagle County, this quaint town was known for its mineral wealth of red quartzite cliffs in which the town coined its name, Red Cliff. This now statutory town, is a classic staple of the west and offers many historic sites, however, in recent years, has also incorporated many modern businesses as well.

Take a drive down the Colorado Scenic Byway on Highway 24 to enjoy the year-round scenery of green grassy meadows during the summer, golden colors of aspen trees during the fall, and snow covered peaks during the winter. Indulge in a multitude of outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, and much more!
